. . . . . . .

Well who would want to go to a country that is divided and a government that holds only half of their own country. :)

Prime Minister Abdullah al-Thinni runs only a rump state in eastern Libya after a rival group seized Tripoli a year ago, setting ups its own parliament and a government not recognised by world powers.

Libyans have banned many others. It's not like they don't like us. Pakistanis and Libyans used to be very close and many Pakistanis used to work there. Gaddafi once called Pakistan the "fort of Islam." But things have really changed in Libya after his death.

That is very sad, even ummah not helping you out and consider you as terrorists. Kuwait has also banned entry of Pakistanis.

Muslims are no longer United. No body helps each other out anymore. It's not about Pakistan only its everyone. Look what's happened in Myanmar. Not a single muslim nation helped the Muslims there. The Arabs are the most racist. We don't obey what our prophet told us to do before he died.

It's not the passport , rather bad diplomacy on part of the Foreign policy and diplomats who could not get a better outcome for Pakistani Travelers

Most politicians and Military delegates do not have to stand in the lines , so they do not understand the delay and that has always been a problem. Because had they been also asked to wait in lines, the problems we face would have been drastically reduced.

So in end I feel we should have no protocol and all folks should have same standard so the status of passport will rise

To get visa free access, you have to give visa free access in return and I am not in favor of visa free regime for security reasons. Our current policy is fine. I guess nationals of only 5 or 6 countries have visa free access to Pakistan.

Passport rating is low for a vary valid reason and I fully support that reason. Rating is based on Visa free agreements with different nations and this works two way. We can have visa free agreements with many countries but then this means many foreigners will be running rampant in Pakistan carrying out all sort of subversive activities. We all remember what happened when Mr. Haqqani went on reckless visa issuing spree. So, no thank you. We won't need more foreigners at the moment in our country and that is why it is very difficult to get Pakistani visa these days. We couldn't care less for any hoax rating stuff.

On the other hand we do care about how much those holding Pakistani passport earn abroad and send it back. That amount is substantive. Last fiscal year figure stood at $18.4 billion through official channels. Add some more for non banking channels. Hope sane people will get it.

P.S. If I'm all out trying to attract foreigners to my country for tourism and investment and yet my passport is ranked 87 or thereabouts, I wouldn't bring up this topic. Thanks.
