Very true. But how is perception made? Think about that. Think of something. Perceptions had made by sum of what you continously hear, see or associate about a place. That image will be product of -Perception is reality
+ all good things or positive associations
- all bad things or negative associations
All countries have + positives and - negatives. The problem with Pakistan is not that all we hear about is always negative. This brings negative association to the brand Pakistan. I have travelled widely and always am intrigued why 'Pakistan' always elicits such negative respone almost everywhere.
My conclusion. People only hear about negatives about Pakistan. On the other hand India also draws negatives but those are drowned by ocean of positives.
- Indian food
- Indian music
- Indian fashion
- Indian Bollywood
- Indian iconic heritage famous across the world like Taj Mahal
- Indian history
- etc
The weight of above is so strong across the world that it overwhelms anything negative about India. Eveeryday in UK alone millions of British people go to 'Indian Restaurents' to enjoy their meat karahi, beef kebabs, Peshawari nans and Seek Kebabs which has created a huge soft power of India.
