They are indeed safely kept, and what we understood is that to trigger a nuclear reaction you need a code and you can't just steal a nuclear weapon and install your own codes.

You can destroy a nuclear weapon instead of making it to use without its original code.

Although everyone knows that Nuclear weapons are being developed by AQ Khan and this team of great Engineers and Scientist, I am hopeful that they are going to open up there facilities in the Province of Balochistan and In North-Western Sindh to develop more advance weapons and other technologies.
