Can you point to useful intel that Pakistan has offered to India about Muslim terrorists/"freedom fighters"/"stateless actors"? If not, why should India believe that sharing information would actually lead to prosecutions or extraditions, rather than fine-tuning for the next terror attack?

If India can't do the police work and dish out the evidence that incriminates the said individuals, then it's their fault. This is an innocent until PROVEN guilty world.

India can do whatever it wants to, Pakistan should only follow the law.

When those suspect of a crime also can control access to evidence, what sense does this standard make?

Perhaps Pakistan should take a feather from the French and use an independent magistrate to investigate such things.

Making the FIA an independent investigative organization (as is being suggested for the National Accountability Bureau) would be something many Pakistanis would support, as it would remove political pressure from criminal investigations, and in conjunction with our judiciary's new found independence, largely complete a system of providing fair and impartial justice.

But that would mean the politicians who have to approve such a change would no longer be able to use their political influence to hide the crimes they commit or those of their relatives, friends and associates.

Wonder if a charitable organization like that has its declarations (which I assume it must make to the government in lieu of filing taxes) state-audited? Individuals employed by the organization must file tax returns, I assume, if drawing salaries. Can those not be audited for "irregularities"?

I can't imagine bringing an individual to trial by the state at state expense without having a sound legal case that's been internally tested. Seems an enormous waste of money. I know that most Pakistanis don't think much of the United States but you could definitely benefit from our use of special prosecutor offices involving racketeering and other crimes involving criminal organizations.

Guns? Yeah, fine them-over and over and over again while confiscating the weapons each time of course.

After all, as Asim said,
