Well you dont know the difference between the roles of LCA and F 18 E/F, they how can you understand why both are being procured. Let me ask you the same question in Pakistani context: Why are you procuring more F 16s and J-10 when you already have a JF-17?

Arjun did not rreach it's goals that it had to fulfill and hence Army had ordered the T 90s, we have a thorough mix of both Heavy class and Medium class MBTs which you are going to face in battle. The Arjun has the capability to defeat the modern APFDS rounds.

Nag is a third generation ATGM that is comparable with Javelin and Spike-ER. This has a top attack capability and the army is rising a new regimment with NAMICA. This also has given us the base to work on HELINA.

Akash has already been orderedand will soon enter service. The MK2 is going to be test fired soon with extended capability. Akash is different as it has a continuous engine thrust and can change direction at any given time.

The knowledge gained from Trishul is going to be used with MBDA to co-develop the LLQRM Maitri SAM.

No you are wrong. Our Armed forces have a lot of choices to choose from unlike Pakistan which has very few options on the table. And our arsenal is far better than yours on paper right now.
