جسٹس کارنیلیس اندرون سندھ سفر کر رھے تھے۔ انہوں نے دوران سفر سڑک کے کنارے واقعہ ایک تھانے میں درخت کے ساتھ ایک شخص کو الٹا لٹکے دیکھا جس کی چھترول ھو رھی تھی۔ جسٹس صاحب نے گاڑی موڑنے کا حکم دیا اور تھانے میں چلے گئے۔ ان کی ھدایت پہ ان کے ساتھ سکیورٹی سٹاف نے تھانے میں موجود پولیس والوں سے کہا کہ گاڑی میں موجود چیف جسٹس آف پاکستان پوچھ رھے ھیں کہ اس درخت سے بندھے شخص کا جرم کیا ھے اور اس پہ تشدد کیوں ھو رھا ھے۔؟
پولیس والوں سے یہ پوچھنا تھا کہ وہ جواب دینے کی بجاے تھانے سے ھی فرار ھو گئے۔ چیف جسٹس کے سکیورٹی سٹاف نے درخت سے لٹکے شخص کی رسیاں کھول کر اسے آذاد کردیا۔
کراچی پہنچ کر چیف جسٹس نے پولیس چیف کو طلب کیا اور واقعہ کی تفصیل بتاے بغیر حکم دیا کہ اگلے روز فلاں جگہ واقع پولیس تھانہ کا روزنامچہ پیش کریں اور رہورٹ پیش کریں کے گزرے ھوے روز پولیس کے پاس کون ملزم زیر تفتیش تھا اور اس کے جرائم کی نوعیت کیا تھی۔
اگلے دن چیف جسٹس صاحب کو جو روزنامچہ اور پولیس چیف کی طرف سے جو رپورٹ پیش کی گئ اس کے مطابق پولیس اھل کاروں نے ایک خطرناک ڈاکو کو گرفتار کیا ھوا تھا۔ اس ڈاکو سے تفتیش جاری تھی کہ ان ڈاکو کے کئی ساتھی پولیس کی جعلی یونیفارم میں چند گاڑیوں میں سوار جن کے اوپر نمبر پلیٹس بھی سرکاری لگی ھوی تھیں اچانک تھانے پہ حملہ آور ھوے۔انہوں نے اندھا دھند فائرنگ کی جس کے نتیجہ میں پولیس والوں نے تھانے کے عقب میں واقع جنگل میں چھپ کر جان بچای۔ موقع کا فائیدہ اٹھا کر ڈکیٹ کے حملہ آور ساتھی اسے رھا کروا کے ساتھ لے ھانے میں کامیاب ھو گئے۔ نامعلوم حملہ آوروں کے خلاف پرچہ درج کر لیا گیا ھے اور مخبروں کی مدد سے ان کا سراغ لگانے اور گرفتار کرنے کی کوشش کی جا رھی ھے۔ ......

To do this Judiciary, Army & Govt should work together. This is how Singapore eradicated mafias. And judiciary should transfer the mafia case's to Army court.

But in case of Pakistan it's really hard to do because the mafias has very strong connection & lobby in west therefore Pakistan should lobby in the west first in order to get confidence of western world. Yes it's a harsh reality that we need their confidence otherwise the marasi media representatives such as Hamid mir will surely promote the propaganda against the state institutions.

Ps : I remember I think it was in Musharaf era, Pakistan wanted to buy a system which allows to analyse internet traffic with technics of Deep Packet Inspection. But guess what, western countries all were crying: no no you should not buy this system. It is undemocratic !

But you know even in France they are preparing law against fake rumours, there are also laws about lying etc despite having laws protecting freedom of speech.

There is PEMRA which design laws & policy in Pakistan for media. But there is no mechanism & laws to stop prompting the narrative of mafias with the help of corrupt journalism. Targeting & blaming state institutions without even any concrete evidence, defending culprits are few examples in which there is no law around the world for media. Therefore country's strong lobby is must to get rid of the narrative of mafias.
