ok, you should have posted your thread in defence industry section!

Did you know that US Army 9th Infantry Division was once converted to Motorized division with lightly armored vehicles ? You could have discussed a similar formation for Pakistan, at Brigade level maybe, fully motorized with light armored vehicles.

Its up to your imagination and creativity where you take the topic !

Could have posted it with the pictures later. Why give us a trailer?

You could have shown us more designs of light armored vehicles, showing improvements or innovations.

Its not always OP's job to lead a topic, he threw an idea, where is your improvisation ?

I always had a question in mind, when our jawans were dying of bomb blasts every day, why we didn't made MRAP locally in bulk and provided them instead of toyata jeeps?

I did not post this in defense industry because these are the vehicles that are used and are in service by some Pakistani armed force,
these are NOT vehicles that have been displayed in defense exhibitions by different Pakistani companies and have not gone past the display stage.

That's a question I have heard many times .. Maxx pro can be said to be a little bit answer to this , but we need to supply more vehicles .
Though it should be noted ASV Mohafiz IV or Interceptor Mk I by cavalier group is being mass produced , and has already become the main vehicle being used by Quick Response forces as well as by Airport security forces .

My friend, there are thousands of refurbished mine proof vehicles sitting idle here you can pick up for easy money - Buffels/Casspirs/Mambas just to name a few.

Isn't it strange that despite of persistent requirement, Pakistan has failed to come up with a decent light armored vehicle?
Army as a whole is facing acute deficiency of armored vehicles. No Wheeled APC for Northern and Eastern Punjab sectors. No credible IFV in strike corps to support armored divisions. M113 is all the way! But its outdated, and even lack sufficient mobility. Only "good" thing it has is its ability to over pack 11 troops despite of smaller size, take them to battle field, and then run back to take cover.........
