Pakistani Hindu organisation demands dual voting rights for non-Muslims

A perfectly reasonable demand.

Pakistan has long persecuted non-muslim and non-sunni minorities.

Its about time there are laws enacted that protect their rights.

Don't vote at all haven't done anything for you, neither will do for them. For politicians the people who don't have vote/cast votes don't exists.

That's because we don't believe in this political system. How can we be a part of something that we don't believe should exist? No political party in Pakistan is worth supporting anyway.

As for Hindus or other minorities in Pakistan, then yeh I advise them to vote whole heartedly, politicians only care about where they can get votes from, that way you can pressure them in to getting concessions. Hindus should do that, especially in Sindh, they have enough numbers to turn many seats from under the PPP(in interior Sindh) , especially if they side with MQM (again, I am not endorsing MQM).

Voting right is seen as a symbol of equality , it doesn't matter if the voted guy do anything or not.

You at least use the idiom when at the right place. Crocodile tears lol.

You teaching me English. :laughcry:

Brother, do not mention the religion of someone when you are debating them. It is not only bad manners but it gives the impression that you are more concerned with who the person is, instead of what they are saying. It's a slippery slope from there.. ( I mean no disrespect.)
I understand what you're saying but I didn't mention anyone's religion here. If you're talking about the Modi part, well, you don't have to be a Hindu to support Modi now do you?
I usually do not mention others' religions when debating people, just like I did not do now. Though I appreciate your attempt to keep the debate civil and to improve others' manners
Can you explain the words equal rights in Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
Yes, I can. An Islamic republic doesn't mean we murder anyone who isn't Muslim. It simply means its a country based on Islamic laws, which allow for non Muslims to live freely and worship whatever they want to.
Is this crocodile tears.
Do you even know what the expression "crocodile tears" means? And no, it's not crocodile tears. Get out of your Indian Media brainwash and realise that there are plenty of Pakistanis who support minorities.

Lol poor guy doesn't even know where and when to use the expression. Just read it somewhere and used it here.

@TankMan @Donatello @Pakistani Exile
again a genuine question raised by your comments
pakistan is a secular country?
On paper Pakistan is an Islamic Republic, which contains provisions for non-minorities.

Secular is a very vague term. On Paper India is secular country, but we all know the reality.

So take the word 'secular' or 'Islamic' at it's face value.

We've had several Muslim presidents. What was the highest position a Hindu ever reached in Pakistan again?

Pakisan was supposed to be modelled after Ataturk's Turkey, which is a modern and secular state.

After Jinnah's death Pakisan lost its way and morphed into the current state.

And suddenly, Zaid Hamid, who no one takes seriously (in Pakistan), is representative of the whole Pakistan. Indian logic.
you should take him seriously. He is openly suggesting to butcher all hindus, if this is legal in pakistan than god save hindus in pakistan. Best would be either convert to christianity or become muslim.
