Yeah right Shortfall is 9000 MW claimed by just 1 news Channel... I live is Islamabad to Load shedding is just of 3 Hours so please i don't know which posh area you live in Even in Sector G-13 has Load Shedding of 4 Hours

Currently the load shedding is mainly due to restriction by ISRA on release of water from dams.

Thank God you have 3 hours in Ramadan...In start of Ramzan we also had 3-4 hours load shedding but its 6 hours again, and hopefully 8 hours after Ramadan...Like Old Times...!

In that case, Your area must have high ratio of electricity theft and low recovery.

dear if they deal with some major company pay them in one year job can be done . but if they countinue this drama i am sure cost will reach 12bn$ after 10 years and project will be 50-60% ready at that time

hum 100 jooty or 100 piyaz khany wali qaum hain .


2 turbines each 50mw can solve gawader 100mw need . but we are requesting asking working dealing since years with iran to give us 100mw power . look if we give contract to any good company gawader can have 24/7 power from next month .

Lol @ 3 Hours????...Anyone from Islamabad here, from E,F,G10,G9,G5,G8 Sectors ..Please tell him How many hours we experience Load Shedding..Its not less than 6-8 Hours...Please stop defending and see what's reality...! My office is in E-11/4 , the sector where most elite class and Army officers lives, even there we experience 3-4 hours load shedding in 9-6 office timings...!
...And the G13-G14 you are talking about, its not even in main Islamabad city, its close to G-T Road...! I don't know about it, I am talking about main Islamabad City...!
The rest of the country, you know better what's the situation there..!


That's what I am talking about...The above mentioned news also came out in 2014 too...but has the project started? what's its pace? People here are defending these politicians and their failed policies even when they don't have electricity and water...! I am starting to wonder what will be our situation after 5-10 years...!

Its Islamabad, Mostly all people are educated here...I have never hear about any electricity theft incident, at least not in my sector...!
