Pakistani expats send home $9.7 billion in six months

No one other then Imran khan really cares about Overseas Pakistanies. This is why i didn't persuade my parents for my higher studies in foreign. :(
I don't know why over seas Pakistanies are Patriotic to the country which haven't given them anything in return of their services and Patriotism .

Very much patriotic. At least I can't hear a word against Pakistan. I used to have long debates on Pakistan with my teachers back in high school. They were sweet enough to understand me and changed their perspective about Pakistan. What actually hurts me is to see Pakistanis, attacking us with saying, "Pakistan Se door ho Ke Pakistan pe comment karne Ka koi haq nahi" and stuff. Wait whatttt????

Ps: I'm not huge fan of Imran Khan.

Pakistani people are really loved by the Nationals of UAE, relations based on Trust and Respect for each other is really a heart whelming fact. BTW I have been in UAE for 3 weeks visit. It was really good experience but unfortunately i missed the chance to meet @Khafee :cray::cray:

Yeah I understand that. People in America don't know much about Pakistan they only know it regarding the Taliban Issue. I myself have some American Friends who didn't really had positive thoughts about Pakistan at first. But know they are eager to visit Pakistan. The more we get to know each other, help us more to understand each other. And Screw them who say that "You don't have any right to comment about Pakistan". Every overseas Pakistani have far more rights then we Paindu's have. They don't have as much contribution in the development of country as Overseas Pakistanies have.

Americans are very cool people. I love them. Good and bad people are everywhere, but majority of them are wayyy too nice. They accept it once you tell them what actually the truth is. My history prof used to support me in every debate with saying every positive thing about Pakistan and Islam.

That's Great. This is why I said overseas are doing far more for the country then the nationals. Keep up the good work , showing the soft image of your country is the best thing anyone can ever do for the country.

Bribes? Even in Australia? Yeah chez. :p
No matter where we go in this world, corruptions stay with us. Wallahi if they honestly spend this 40% on Pakistanis', I will not ask for any right. Not even voting rights. :/

Even we are deprived of free & fair elections & u r talking about Overseas Pakistanis
- today I heard that someone said in the Senate that electronic voting sys failed all over the world & it's obvious that in 2018 gen elections we will cast our vote by using Parchi  & then again every political party will claim that elections were rigged & hold mid-term elections...countless problems + useless Politicians = More problems :frown:

Man, you mixed up a LOT of issues together. If the world thinks you had free and fair elections, I think its time you let go of one fool who thinks the elections were "rigged". To satisfy one person's ego, the entire nation doesn't have to be held hostage. Time to look forward to the CPEC program and what it brings to the table for Pakistan. It will turn Pakistan into an Australia in the next 10 or so years.

Do you really want to pay attention to one bad mouth crying about "rigged" elections, or do you want to see an entire nation (who was being called a failed state) just three years ago, getting transformed and leaving many on the world map behind economically and becoming modern and strong? I'd like the later, I hope you and others do too!!

Matlab the drama is going to be repeated? Sahy h. Wase I already knew PML N is going to win the next election. Even if there's no rigging, parachi, jaily vote or anything, still PML N is gonna win. And now we need to stop with this buzzword 'rigging'. We have enough of the drama already. Not a supporter of any political party, but I can say, even if there's no rigging, PTI wouldn't have win the elections.
By the way, that's not a valid excuse to not give us (overseas) right to vote.

Your post is written very well . Public interest and national interest should be above all. Drama...can be done inside the assembly or in "talk shows". Everything looks good when its in the right place :enjoy:

Drama? We got a telefilm on daily basis in our assembly. :p. Talk shows are good, they give rating to both the channels including the anchors and the guests. Plus, entertains the audience. :p

That's exactly where people crying the "rigging" song need to go and get ratings from the public. While others finish up the CPEC and take Pakistan closer to Australia's GDP in the next ten years. Performance should matter. Song and dance shouldn't!! That's called a private party, not politics :enjoy:

I don't get this at all, why would somebody send money to a country they left?

That's because you and I belong to a country blessed with unlimited opportunities. In other nations, its not the case. So people coming from India, Pakistan, China, Bangladesh, etc, have siblings, parents, etc, they take care of financially.

We complain about our Medicare system being crappy so much. This situation right here, where you have to provide healthcare to your family members abroad, should tell us how fortunate we are that we actually HAVE a system that takes care of our elderly when they retire :usflag:

And guess what? People are even bashing this project. Supporters of a particular party follow their top personnel all the way and which has destroyed their all senses of thinking and comprehending the political situations.
All I want to see is the betterment in Pakistan, regardless to the political parties.

For the first bold line: "A blind leading the blind" would be the right fit!! On the last line, I've been excited and writing about this opportunity when people didn't even know the term CPEC. Not to mention the negativity and opposition I faced!!

So yea, I am excited to see Pakistan tearing down many ranks in global economies and climbing next to Australia. And that's only like 10 years away. All it takes is a hard working, peaceful and tolerant nation standing together as citizens to take their country forward!!
