What's new

Pakistani drones with strike capability

It's surprising this news had to be divulged by the Americans! And Pakistani officials were not available for comment? :what: They should have all been dancing with joy as this is a technological leap for Pakistan.

But we see no one celebrating in Pakistan! Something doesn't add up here. This news is either bogus or the drones were the American Predators which may have been allowed by the PA to operate over South and North Waziristan. That's an easier option than sending troops to operate over hazardous terrain.

There is no way that Pakistan has been successful in mastering combat drone technology so far. That's still some way into the future.

Huh? :undecided: Even if there is collateral damage? Will the Pakistanis turn a blind eye if innocent men, women and children are killed in the process?

bro he is saying that conditions would be better if PA handels target oprations rather then americans

Also could have been French drones or UK drones in Afghanistan - though French operate only surveillance drones.

The UK is to double the number of armed RAF "drones" flying combat and surveillance operations in Afghanistan and, for the first time, the aircraft will be controlled from terminals and screens in Britain.

In the new squadron of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), five Reaper drones will be sent to Afghanistan, the Guardian can reveal. It is expected they will begin operations within six weeks.

Pilots based at RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire will fly the recently bought American-made UAVs at a hi-tech hub built on the site in the past 18 months.

hahahahahaha.................when you speak truth,Considered as a TROLL.......

.
Lets wait for the smoke to settle down shall we?
Even if PA carried out the strikes then they might want to avoid the backlash off it. However if the news is out now they should come clean that it was them. If they have acquired the technology then it is something we should be happy about

Commenting on a news report published in New York Times on March 5, an ISPR spokesman said that such an accusation is distortion of the facts and seems to be aimed at diluting Pakistan’s stance on drone strikes. Welcome to ISPR

Military forces usually lie about everything associated with them around the world. They are lying ISPR usually covers tracks on PR level very well. 1971 and Kargil are some examples. They might have carried out strikes.
