Sorry to say but we produce crap..Same theme of Martial/social issues repeated in one way or another.Nothing new on the idiot box.

Its close to reality and many people could relate to these stories based on social issues of our society

not everyone is fond of science fictions, fantasy, animation, horror etc

I like the fact that Pakistani serials address class issues and discrimination. People in Pakistan literally face that shit every day, so there is a message to be found If certain serials want to promote social issues.

These drams are educating masses about their rights which is good thing

for example if you look at drama serial Udhari its about child abuse

If you look at story of daldal then its about desperation of people to go abroad by thinking that its solution of all their problems but they dont realise that they sacrifice social life and love of spouse/children

Story of yakeen ka safar revolve around this rich landlord who rape this poor village girl and how she take stand against him even when her own family dont support her and how a lawyer sacrifice his life to give justice to this girl

Story of Baghi( qandeel baloch Biopic) reveal how we judge people so easily without knowing their background and what they have gone through in their past life.

I completely agree with you. The uneducated masses of Pakistani society need to realize that they also have rights and that status quo is not acceptable. Too bad pti didn't use this outlet to educate people. It would have worked in their favor.

I am not fan of PTI because if you look at people around Imran khan then they are all left overs of others party aka symbol of status quo but agree with you that ignorance is prevalent in our society and people should know about their rights and should take stand against any injustice, abuse or discrimination. People can be entertained by these drams and could learn lessons as well . I have seen some women literally crying after watching some emotional scenes so people connect with it well

i like history; nevertheless there should be some in the mentioned categories, there were some old dramas over topics like tipu sultan and jinnah but a lot more can be brainstormed. such production is always costly and these production houses are greedy and see risk involved . Unfortunately just like our people like films with item numbers our dramas about controversial social issues lead the charts.
