Pakistani & ARY Morning Shows – Cashing In On Zainab Tragedy

Who watches these retarded morning shows? It is time to get a grip on the media in Pakistan. They are spiraling out of control. Some are even on the payroll our outsiders.

Asian TV is big business in the UK

Well I am British Asian, so yes I have seen a couple of things. Can't stand Bollywood to be honest, neither do I like Pakistani movies. But I like the music and some of the stuff on T.V is entertaining especially this guy called Mr. Shamim.

These morning show hosts are doing very inhumane stuff u cant imagine the kind of things i have seen in some of morning shows n i am not a morning show watcher but once in a while i watch a video of interest and things thta they do. Anyways in one of the morning show they even showed zainabs father n asked very painful questions , the poor chap started crying out of pain.

GoP should ban them though I would say people stop watching them. Also I want to know what are the ratings and more importantly who does the ratings of these shows? I don't know after every show there a public survey is held or vote..or is it?

I dont watch much entertainment on SKY, just sometimes Hum TV when I am visiting my family. Mainly Saama news, PTV World ( they have nice documentaries on Pakistani Culture)and I stream news from Dawn, Geo and Ary to get a balanced perspective on what is going on inside Pakistan.

The crush of Indian songs in pakistan is more than Indians themselves, i am surprised.But they perform well and dance competition is the biggest hit in pakistan to get top rating for any channel now a days

Saw similar bullshi* on samaa. These morning shows are an embarrassment to say the least. They embody everything related to an uncontrolled and unethical media, wherein channels will literally do anything in order to get more views. Using the tragedy of Zainab is just one of many other such similar cases.

PTV is the Doordarshan of India and hardly people see them now a days.People want entertainment and Gabbar singh is the biggest comedy in Pakistan(1.3 million views)...Gabbar singh comes every now a then in many pakistani channels

Yup I know Gabbar sing, My fav Indian actors have to be Raj Kumar and Amitab bachan (old films only, cant stand his new ones, makes him look like a horny old man).

I'm happy that we don't get these channels in Sweden though a few people suggested to me to buy a TV box (jadoo) that aires Pakistani + indian channels but I'm happy I didn't since Youtube built in my TV suffices for watching my select set of current affair shows. People need to control themselves too. We cannot blame everything on the govt. Nobody forces people to get cables connections or watch certain channels though still govt is responsible for evolving and implementing fair media policies that no crap is aired.

Trust me you are not missing much, whatever is not available on Sky, you can stream online like Dawn News (which I find to be the best news channel for Pakistan atm).

That is because old actors were professionally trained method actors, not the regurgitated nonsense you get nowadays, just look at Hollywood and the new "talent" none of them can hold a candle to the likes of Marlin Brando etc...
