“If the university authorities take any action against the Kashmiri students, this will not only negate the democratic claims of this country but it will also have very strong reaction in Jammu & Kashmir and the Indian government will be responsible for all this,” Hurriyat (G) said in a statement today.

Hurriyat (G) on Thursday cautioned the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) authorities against taking any action against organisers of a peaceful event on Afzal Guru.

Terming the “hue and cry” all over India over the organizing of the event as “unnecessary and beyond the understanding of anyone”, Hurriyat (G) said: “As India is claiming to be a largest democracy in the world, so this democracy should not only allow its people to raise their voices for their birth rights but they should also try to know and address the root cause of the grievances of the Kashmiri students.”

“If the university authorities take any action against the Kashmiri students, this will not only negate the democratic claims of this country but it will also have very strong reaction in Jammu & Kashmir and the Indian government will be responsible for all this,” Hurriyat (G) said in a statement today.

A Hurriyat spokesman Ayaz Akbar said that it is not the first time that the Kashmiri students have organized such an event in any educational institution of India. “… but wherever they are studying, they raise their peaceful voices against the oppression which their nation is facing since a long time.”

“This is not only a natural reaction of the situations in Kashmir but it is also a constitutional, legal and democratic right of the students to show their concerns,” he said.

The students of the JNU, he said, have neither committed any act of violence in the university nor did they indulge in any other immoral activity.

“They have just raised slogans against the secret hanging of Mohammad Afzal Guru and in favour of the freedom for Kashmir during the peaceful protest demonstration and it hadn’t harmed anybody,” said Akbar.

“The hue and cry, which the university authorities, VHP, RSS and the Indian Media Mafia have raised against this small event is totally unfair, unjustified and beyond the understanding of anybody.”

He said the Indian news channels are debating and presenting the simple and normal event in the JNU as if the students dropped a bomb or planted a landmine in the campus.

“The Indian media mafia by projecting the incident in a wrong way is actually creating an unsafe atmosphere for the Kashmiri students and is trying to gather a public consensus against them,” he alleged.

Hurriyat Conference cautioned that if any untoward happened with the Kashmiri students in New Delhi, that will have very serious consequences and all its responsibility will be on the Indian government.

Hurriyat said that the Kashmiri nation is proud of their students who had held peaceful protest demonstration and they stand with them in whatever the situations.

Lo bhai. Time for the muslims to suffer just because they vouched for Pakistan. On the other hand the government and at times people of Pakistan too have no interest in helping out the muslims who live in occupied regions like Lucknow and Kashmir but vouch for Pakistan. It is a sad situation comparable to the fate of biharis in Bangladesh or the case of Hazara victim Major Shafaat or the case of Muzzaffar khan jamali a Baloch killed only for singing the national anthem in his school. Patriotism is rarely rewarded in our country and it is sickening how great opportunities to break India like they broke us in 71 have been squandered despite India expending all its efforts to destabilize Pakistan.

As a Lucknowi I know people including my grandfather who stayed in Lucknow and constantly supported Pakistan. It is a travesty of justice that these peoples sacrifices and struggles for Pakistan is not even counted despite the fact that they were Pakistan's main proponents.

Pakistan is not a nationality as such. It is an ideology for all Muslims of the sub continent to be united. As a Lucknowi I say that a muslim anywhere, including in Lucknow can be as patriotic or more patriotic than any other Pakistani. Our identity is Pakistan and we want our regions merged with Pakistan.

.
Bharat also includes the whole Pakistan. So muslims will carve out more states out of your Pakistan, like Bangladesh.
Indian muslims will be in majority, by marrying more than once and having more childerns while hindus will be standing in the corner with vegetarian samosas in the hand

If this was not a democracy, we would have put a 7.62 mm hole in each of those secessionist heads.

After Pakistan Zindabad slogans in Kashmir, now they are being raised in New Delhi, the very heart of India, yet Indians seem to be more worried about balochistan, feel sorry for my Indian friends here.
