Impressed by their good show during the ongoing series in England, some county teams have reportedly approached young Pakistan talents Umar Akmal and Mohammed Aamer for the next season starting April 2011.

According to well placed sources in the Pakistan team, teams like Kent and Hampshire have shown interest in Umar, who has looked by far the best Pakistan batsman on the current tour.

"The counties have expressed a desire to hire Umar. They are interested to give him a longer contract. There are also others who want to hire the batsman," The News quoted sources, as saying.

However, Umar is undecided on his county stint.

"He is not sure at the moment whether he is interested in playing for the county. Umar is totally focussing on playing for the country and as such has no time to decide on his association with the counties," said one of his teammates on conditions of anonymity.

Even Aamer, who has impressed one all with his pace and accuracy during the tour, is yet to decide on the county offers.

"Aamer is not certain whether he will get Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) permission to play for any county," said the player.
