We need it all. Not just dams, but also nuke reactors. We have a major deficit and this can only be catered by dams and nuke reactors. We can argue about the precise location of nuke reactors and their safety etc. Although, we should build reactors. The rewards are immense and cannot be overlooked.

What the hell you going on about? Nothing you have said has convinced me to say that not going nuclear is the way forward. Dams or green energy won't suffice. That is a fact. Pakistan is dealing with a massive deficit which cannot be solely addressed with hydroelectric sources. We need nuke reactors for electricity generation because they can provide mass cheap electricity. There is no way round it.

Nuclear energy is not cheap. It costs about two million dollars for 1MW of nuclear energy. So, a nuclear plant of 2000MW will cost about 4 billions dollars.

That is most likely the acquisition cost of a nuclear reactor. Also depending on the quality and other factors you have cheaper and more costlier reactors. Have you also calculated the cost of electricity generation?

Well this is not proper way of disposal......
I am against Nuclear power energy for this reason that their is no effective way of neutralizing its waste.... and it's waste material is most injurious to health and eco system as compared to other energy wastes.....

Nuclear power plants can become big trouble in case of war...... upon targeting them..... some crazy side reactions can take place..... or if not so , then it's waste or leakage material is too Damn dangerous.......

I believe we should utilize hydro power instead..... but sadly it involve some political reasoning......
