Pakistan to respond to India at place & time of its choice, DGMO tells Indian counterpart

PAKISTAN

RAWALPINDI: “Pakistan reserves the right to respond to unprovoked Indian firing at the place and time of its own choice,” Director General Military Operations (DGMO) Maj. Gen. Sahir Shamshad Mirza made it clear to his Indian counterpart, as nine Pakistanis civilians and three soldiers embraced martyrdom near at the Line of Control (LoC) on Wednesday.

Indian barbarism reached its peak on Wednesday as its troops shelled a bus carrying unarmed Pakistani citizens on Wednesday, resulting in the martyrdom of nine people. Three soldiers of the Pakistan Army were also martyred in unprovoked firing in different sectors along the LoC.

On Wednesday evening, a hotline contact was established between the Pakistan and India DGMOs.

“Discussing single point agenda, the DGMO demarched his Indian counterpart for targeting of a bus of civilians, by Indian troops, with innocent people inside on Pakistan side of the LoC,” said the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).

"We reserve the right to respond at the place and time of our choice," Gen Mirza made clear to his Indian counterpart.

WTF, Pakistani troops starting to fire from civilian areas and going back to their bunkers to watch civilians die of Indian retaliatory firing!!
Now I understand why Pakistani civilians are dying in greater number than the troops...This is sick!

***** was a bus and ambulance also firing at you.

There was no fire from those areas

Indian army purposely targeted civilians to kill

The message conveyed to the indian military was clear that if that is is the way the indians want to go then there will be consequences

This article is written by someone from India and all knows the credibility of their reporters. Just ignore this and all of the people knows that how Pakistan army talks to Indian army and in this statement it seems that the reporter wants to show that Indian army can speak in front of Pakistan army :).

Still I did not hear that on LOC Pakistan has stopped responding to Indian forces after the talks.

I wonder how much resources they are putting on making cooked up stories, anyways good for them.

I still cannot digest this. Why in the world Pakistani DGMO had to call Indian counterpart when they are killing us openly. Better to keep replying them in the same tone.

How would Indian troops know at what they're firing?...one cannot see through the hilly terrain, they are just returning fire to the direction from which they are targeted, assuming that there are bunkers....since mortars are fired in rounds, the bus and the ambulance (assuming it actually happened) got hit is succession....

A mature move by Pakistani DGMO, let's hope the desire for peace is genuine and not because they want a breather before again starting the business of pushing terrorists

The civilians were killed on Neelum Valley road. There are no positions on the road, its a main thoroughfare where the civilian vehicle was hit by Indian fire. I understand the urge to deflect, but the Indian DGMO also owned up to it and regretted the loss of civilian life if the Indian side of the report is to be believed.

what consequences ? you can't do a damn , you will hit ours and we will hit yours , the saga will continue

You have more soldiers on LOC so in fire fight we can kill more Indian soldiers while can keep our losses low.

We can do quite a lot and your side knows it. The issue is how long do we want to do this? What is quite obvious is that if the Modi government thinks that Pakistan will back down, it won't. So for the sake of sanity, both sides need to start thinking of some track II type discussions to calm things down. Nobody backs down on the LoC after blood has been spilled. Seen it one too many times.

because DGMO knows that it is not black and white....both sides resort to fire and they always blame the other side of provocation...have you ever heard that we started fire and other side responded?? it is always the other way...so when things go out of hand then DGMO speak...sometimes we call and sometimes you call...that freaking hotline was established only for that reason...!!

You have more soldiers on LOC so in fire fight we can kill more Indian soldiers while can keep our losses low.
what?? that's one bizarre logic !!
