Pakistan to receive huge offer from Russia

Since it was introduced pver a decade back, its barely been able to get customers outside of Russia.

For one reason, its the size of a Boeing 737-100. Seriously, back in the 60's only 30 of those were produced because the configuration was too little.

I truly believe the all-new Irkut MC-21 will be more successful compared to the Sukhoi Super Jet.

Obviously the a220 (formerly Bombardier C-Series) is far superior to either - if you're not bringing the usual suspects Airbus & Boeing in the conversation.

Are they cheaper than boeing and airbus ? What is their crash history ?

Planet is moving away from coal. Why not more nuclear power plants?

Because we have 175 billion tons of coal in Thar alone.

I believe it should be fine for domestic flights. Within Pakistan to Afghanistan, and iran. We dont need fancy plans for those short flights. Boeing and airbus should be put on routes to the middle east, far east and europe/NA.

Maybe if PIA buys like 20, we might force them for Technology transfers, for some of the systems. Which would be another win for kamra and PIA.

Pakistan should only consider the jet, if Pakistan can secure the technology it needs for its development. The complete technology transfer and know-how training to produce the RD-93MA and other technologies to future along the design in Pakistan should be asked for, such as the technology developed under the VK-10M project (max thrust @24,000lb)

sukhoi superjet is a good plane for russia where long range flights in unpopular area is needed... and the same for eastern european countries... but for pakistan, unless there is a major demand... i don't see how this is good

• Tank T-90/Armata T-14
• Transfer technology of RD93 Engine of better engine technology.
• Sukhoi Su-35 fighter jet
• Offer technology of Sukhoi Superjet 100

Poor country. Nucleur are expensive as compared to coal in current circumstances.

Chashma Nuclear Power Complex is fairly new one and just as it went operational Pakistan and China started moving forward on KANUPP 2 and 3, which are under construction. There is also a possibility of KANUPP 4. Presently we can only acquire nuclear reactors from China as they had 'grandfathered' the reactor sales to Pakistan before joining the NSG. To buy nuclear reactors from Russia we would require an NSG waiver, much like India did.
