Very soon I'll be growing my own tomatoes on my terrace garden. In fact, the tomatoes you find in market are harvested using pesticides, polluted water and other chemicals. I'd prefer harvesting my own organic vegetables, if I grow something in surplus I'd sell it here on PDF .

Import from Iran to a balochistan city my guess would be Quetta. Then from Quetta it goes to Lahore. So much time and money will make the import of tomatoes expensive compared to what 2 hour time to import from Amritsar? A silly decision in my opinion.

seasonal fluctuation seems tomato crops got destroyed by rains. Try using ketcup until then.
you can use canned tomatoes, but I think there will lot of resistance/reluctance from ppl who are used to fresh vegetables. I suppose there are no halal cuts on vegetables.

nahh these are costlier than fresh tomatoes. in the meanwhile we can import from india
