PESHAWAR, Aug 8: Pakistan may export $40 million Super Mashaq training aircraft to Saudi Arabia.

“Pakistan is likely to get contracts to export Super Mashaq training aircraft to Saudi Arabia and Oman,” said Air Commodore Pervez Saadiq, Member (commercial) of the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, Kamra, while making a presentation on the topic of “Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) in collaboration with private sector” at a seminar entitled “Opportunities for SMEs in defence equipment manufacturing” here on Friday.

He told the participants of the seminar that the total value of the training aircraft likely to be exported to Saudi Arabia comes to $40m.

please note RSAF have 20 super mashaqs its mean 2 million$ per unit

May be the Turkish government is trying to train as many pilots as possible to fill the gaps. Congrats to Pak for helping Turkey out (as usual)...

It wud indeed be an honor for Pakistan to extend any sort of assistance required by Turkey as indeed Turkey has gone an extra mile to get rid of evil sleeper cells inside it. I wish if we cud also replicate that model here.

please note RSAF have 20 super mashaqs its mean 2 million$ per unit

Sir like I said earlier that those sold to Riyadh are quite inferior to what is on offer right now.

photoshopped  Nicely....

Super M sold for ~150K $
MFI-17 Mushshaq Light for ~80K$

No that $15 million is too much.
Even More advanced LIFT aircrafts are under that price tag.
Russian Yak-130 costs $15 million

Congratulations Pakistan! :pakistan:

How many units of Mushshaq would've been built by then? Close to 300?

ok that's 15 M rs not $
Which is less price than KSA paid.$ 2 million per unit.
1.5K$ is the plane,spares+training+avionics kit=price increased significantly.
However i think even a fully pimped out SM would cost around less than a million bucks.

Not bad for a country who was just recently "ISOLATED"

If this news comes true it means we r applying Chinese formula sell everything at lower price then competition to gain more orders

The aircraft itself is available at quite low price. Not that they have decreased price just to bag orders.
