Pakistan to end ceasefire, if WB construction not halted
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has made it clear to the Indian Border Security Forces that if the constructions at the working boundary (WB) were not halted until the resolution of the Kashmir conflict, then the ceasefire could be ceased.
Pakistan rangersââ¬â¢ Deputy Director General, Brigadier Qaiser Khan Tareen told this to the media here on his return from India, after holding talks with the Indian Border Security Forces.
Brigadier Qaiser Khan said that India has been plainly told that since this area remaining disputed until the resolution of Kashmir conflict, constructions at the working boundary could not be allowed and if it was done so, then Pakistan would end the ceasefire.
Qaiser Khan Tareen told that he has provided to India evidences regarding intrusion of Indian terrorists and smugglers from across the border, while a list of further 168 Pakistanis erroneously crossing the border has also been handed over to India, making the total of such Pakistanis to 450.
He told that India has assured halting of the constructions and the release of Pakistani prisoners.
