Pakistan to Buy Two Mine hunters from Netherland

. . . . . . .
Of course not. Its not a tale the jedi would tell you.

Darth Reddit had such a knowledge of the Internet, that he could even save the ones he loved from dying... By spamming so much propaganda and controlling a hive mind.

He had an apprentice. An apprentice named r/India. He taught him everything he knew. Once his apprentice gained influence, he started to control the narrative. It got to the point where the hive mind was eventually breaking, due to the amount of propaganda being spread. It was easily identifiable.

Darth reddit banned several of his apprentices sub reddits. A reprimand as we say...

What happened you might ask?

His apprentice killed him... In his sleep.

He could save others from death... But not himself. Ironic.

From his masters death, he controlled the narrative of reddit and was free to rule. Everywhere you looked, you saw anti pak propaganda being upvoted

The voices that came out against this propaganda were crushed with force by the Indians and their... Sapporters wishing them phull support siiir. There were making so many anti pak sub reddits where they outright supported the balochistan terrorists, celebrating the deaths of the soldiers and citizens, outright calling for a genocide.

It was a dark time.... Until a band of ghazis arrived....

Noah get the boat wars were so funny man. At least we got that toxic nest r/balochistan banned and all balochan subreddits are under pk control. And there's r/thepaknarrative run by someone. r/chutyapa lost its quality. The old days were so much fun.

PAKISTAN TO GET TWO MORE MINEHUNTERS
AMSTERDAM/KARACHI

The Government of the Netherlands have signed a deal with the Pakistan Navy for the sale of two former Royal Netherlands Navy Tripartite Class Minehunters (known as Alkmaar Class in Netherlands). HNLMS Haarlem and HNLMS Middelburg will joing the Pakistan Navy in February 2022.

Pakistan previously operates three Tripartite Class (known as Éridan Class in France) minehunters acquired from France (known locally in Pakistan as Munsif Class). This will increase the ships to a total of 5 Munsif Class minehunters. The Tripartite Class is a class 630 tonne minehunters developed jointly by France, the Netherlands and Belgium.

The ships in Pakistani service have Elesco MKR 400 acoustic sweep and MKR 960 magnetic sweeps for minesweeping duties. The ships have a range of 5600 kilometres and is armed with a 20 mm modèle F2 gun as a naval defence weapon and two 12.7 mm machine guns. The Alkmaar Class are further upgraded with improved electronics, including Atlas Elektronik INCMS combat data system, Thales 2022 Mk III hull-mounted sonar, Atlas Seafox Mine Identification and Disposal System and a Double Eagle Mk III Mod 1 ROV.

A minehunter is a naval vessel that seeks, detects, and destroys enemy naval mines. A minehunter uses an imaging sonar to detect and classify targets and then sends out divers or remotely operated vehicles to inspect and neutralise the threat, often using small charges that are detonated remotely.

As minehunters will often be operating in close proximity to mines, they are designed so as to reduce their own acoustic and magnetic signatures, two common forms of trigger for mines. For example, they are often soundproofed by mounting machinery on shock absorbers or by using quiet electrical drive, low magnetic electric motors and usually have a wood, fiberglass or non-ferrous metal hull, or are degaussed to reduce magnetic signature.

The question is budget… serious lvl if procurement goin on 8 subs frigates, corvettes etc … PN budget is not even capable to maintain even with 4B
This is scrap material and used so doubt it costs much and are already in use with PN
Good deal

We have 3 main ports????
I thought we only had Gwadar and Karachi port which one is the third? And which one is naval port? Ormara?

The second one is Port Qasim, near Karachi. Gawadar is the third commercial port. Major Coal, clinker, Cement and Bulk Cargo is handled at Port Qasim More than 8 million tons per annum. Majority of LNG/LPG is handled by Port Qasim. Almost all NATO supplies went through Port Qasim at its peak. In total PQA can handle 89 million tons per annum.

KPT is he largest port with capacity to handle 125 million tons of bulk, containerized, and liquid (Read Oil) cargo

Yes the only dedicated Naval port is Ormara

Hey, not fair I want full documentary
Sorry, David Attenborough said no to my offer.

TOT does not cover all aspects. For example, the major requirement for minesweeper is sensor which requires semiconductor. I don't think anyone has given TOT for semiconductor. Simialrly, fire controls, displays etc also need computers & hence semiconductors.

The TOT is limited and as long as Pakistan can't make semiconductors or other critical technology, it has to import

It would be unwise to comment on this without even knowing what kind of TOT Pakistan received from the French in 90s, as you have done so, or without doing any prior research into what Pakistan can or cannot make. Maybe take a minute to check the FCS and displays made in Pakistan for other machines before making an uneducated guess.

The sensors on these ships are already upgraded. Even if they weren’t Pakistan has multiple avenues or import to upgrade them. The rest of the vessel can be easily changed as needed with the available ToT. Just because a ships hull is old doesn’t mean the ship is old, the Indian navy is probably the most aware of that.

I don’t see why importing is an issue either, India imports massive amounts of weaponry and systems too because it is unable to make them on its own, and there’s nothing wrong with that, and there’s no shame in admitting Indian defense industry is ahead of Pakistans.

The sad part here is that despite being 7x larger and having that much more resources, Indian “indigenous” tanks, aircraft and drones are falling behind Pakistani ones, content with the small lead they have instead of realizing how massive the lead should be given the economic and size factors. And one is already progressing faster than the other.
