How so? Throw your false ego out of the windowThese F-16 has caused more damage to PAKISTAN than our enemies.....
Production rate of jft is slow.USA even today is happy for you to buy 8 F16/52 for total COST OF of $700 million[/B]
]What you guys want is to pay around half that and get a grant aid for the rest.[/B]
For those who advocate buying J10 or SU35 or Typhoon or Gripen.... these planes are simply not affordable to Pakistan not even a dozen or so...
That is a very very bad financial position....
Your left with 2 choices ( if USA grant aid stops)
Stick to Thunder alone ... AND trust in this jet if you really believe in it ??????
OR
get second hand used F16 which some countries are scraping And YES Pakistan is looking to buy planes that RJAF no longer want ..
This is very concerning though.
Why no faith in the BVR equipped thunder over a sanction threatened block a/b F16 WHICH is 30 years old. ???
I JUST DONT GET IT
Engines will be the old ones and CFTs cant be fitted either... other than that, they will have same avionics and capability as the 52+smart plan we buy them at low price and then get them upgraded by turkey in the end they will be good as new or as it was said in planes "better than new"
they will be mlu-ed to this levelCurrent Jordanian F16 that PAF might buy.
They look very much like the F16 PAF acquired way back in 1990. NON bvr capable.
it look like they need a major refurb and MLU to get this level below
TTP is killing pakistani children. Its our war. We have finally risen up to the task and making pak a safer place to live in. F16s and drones are 2 separate issues. Pak gov cant stop drone attacks no matter which aircraft she possess. Lets stick to topic herePakistan has to follow"DO MORE" policy because of F-16,and
has to remain silent on drone attacks only for F-16s.
Silence on Geronimo Operation, example of last drone attack etc, thousands of examples exists.
Funny thing is that they are still not giving us F-16s...
and starting War from Afghanistan and destabilizing PAKISTAN since 9/11.
Pakistan is no more their slave for F-16s.
It's not a 7th generation fighter jet.
smart plan we buy them at low price and then get them upgraded by turkey in the end they will be good as new or as it was said in planes "better than new"
It's tyres, medicines, fabric and chemicals mate .. don't mix your expertise with ours.

Brother MLU upgradation in Turkey a good idea but still these upgraded Jets not equalent to Block 51 + at any condition.smart plan we buy them at low price and then get them upgraded by turkey in the end they will be good as new or as it was said in planes "better than new"
Bro as long as i know we got 12+1 or 13+1 (lil doubtful about the numbers) from Jordan and as per reports coming from Turkey, they are being sent their for up gradation. As the RJAF F-16s did come at damn low cost and PAF was able to recover them quite well and we have $200 million plus money left by 8 F-16s so who knows we might get another full Squadron of RJAF F-16s.SIr how many jets we gona get from Jordan?
what is the existing jordanian inventory of F 16s A/B?
Production rate of jft is slow.
Range of f16 is more and it can be inducted within weeks.
Service life and avionics can be upgraded in the F-16 for roughly the same cost as of the jft.
How so? Throw your false ego out of the window
I think if we can get from Jordan at a cheaper price and get them upgraded, is not a bad idea at all. Listen it is not F-16 that's the issue here but the baggage which comes with it if we buy from USA. What I understand is that PAF needs a sizeable number of F-16s and JF-17s to bridge the gap with IAF until it is able to induct its next platform. ...that's what their thinking is in my opinion and I neither totally agree with this approach nor totally against it.
