You are right, election manifesto is no confirmation of the ATAK contract being signed.

There was a ceremony when the Milgem MoU was signed in May 2017. Here we are talking about the final contract ... No announcement / press release, no official statement.

Few weeks back, some Turkish media outlets reported that the Milgem loan of USD 400 million was finally approved after some problems and funding for T129 was under process and not secured yet.

So, too early to celebrate.

Alan Warnes said (back in July 2017) that TAI was aiming to announce the deal by/at the Farnborough Air Show.

T129 is a good deal for Pakistan as AH1Z Cobras won’t be coming to Pakistan & they are been sold to another buyer which were originally were been made for Pakistan. The UMTAS ATGM has hell fire like performance, and is FAF , a good departure from the now legacy TOW on the cobra.

So far it seems that Zulus have been blocked by Trump administration & Bahrain is the new buyer.

Where have you read this or are you speculating? Bahrain is a new customer for AH-1Zs along with Pakistan. They are not going to get the Cobras that PA ordered.

20mm wont work against tanks but AFV

I don't think BMP-1 is part of Indian Arsenal.
They operate BMP-2 Sarath as standard APC/IFV for their mechanized forces

T-129 is big upgrade what PAA currently have, also most weapons can be made locally with ToT, also PA need FnF long range ATGM for ground troops and Mizrek-U can fill that gap.
