mmm...very tricky. Countries don't normally export strategic bombers these days. Not even to their allies. Best course is to develop one in-house. Don't assume it'd be easy! But yes, bombers can send cold feet to the enemy and those around you.

Those are mainly for maritime recon purposes.

Depends on how good your enemy's air defense is, some might see it as a easy target.

And on the second part, it's mainly used for marine recon, but it's still a bomber, right? Though 4-5 bombers can hardly change the battlefield scenario.

It's sad IAF never thought about inducting any worthy semi-bomber in place of retired Canberras.

Missiles are more effective than bombers. For insurgents jf-17 is more than enough.

Missiles might blast under your **** but not strategic bombers . For Jf17s IN is more than enough ps take care of terrorists in your ground and air . I would not go for strategic bomber unless i have option of B2 . Arent 2 Mkis and 2 rafale equal to two strategic bombers? A perfect combo that can jam counter measures while skipping missiles and shooting missiles and bombing ?

Strategic bombers are used after enemies air defence has been dedtroyed.

Not always, for example US used B-2s and F-117s in Iraq before destroying their air defenses, thanks to it's stealth. In modern war scenario it's almost impossible to negate total radar coverage, given that many countries are fielding advanced portable radars which are very hard to lock down and take down by anti-radiation missiles.
