Pakistan stepping up School Security

Pakistan has begun a serious reformation process focusing mainly on the Pakistan Police, after the devastating attacks on APS in Peshawar and BKU in Quetta. The police has been retrained, reconditioned and reequipped to some extent. Anti-terror drills in schools have been carried out nationwide. The police has widely seen by the Pakistani public as unreliable, inefficient and corrupt - The Pakistan government and even the Armed Forces are trying to change that.

Pakistan provincial policemen take part in anti-terror school drills.

The Pakistan Government has also passed laws making it easier for school teachers to purchase weapons. Army presenters have been sent nationwide around schools teaching Children and Teachers how to respond during a terrorist attack. Many Pakistan Army soldiers have also been tasked with teaching local students how to handle weapons.

Its every body for themselves now. When you have an enemy within then you can protect yourself with usual practices.

Re-introduce NCC (National Cadet Corps) apart from at least 50% of the teachers gun-trained suitably.
