You can only make a comparison like this if Pakistan had 1.2 billion people and 5 times the size. In fact, its a huge diplomatic victory that they even made Russians sell the attack choppers that everyone knows, in a real war, will be used against India.

Your population and area comparison is with China. Well, the Chinese have gone SO ahead that there really isn't a comparison. China is behind the US in advance tech by a decade. India is behind China by a decade militarily.

Pakistan has Spada 2000- Range 20 KM
HQ-2- 45 Km(don't know whether operational or not)

S-400 might bring a leap in range,but isn't filling a role of a medium range SAM(50-100 KM or so) is far more important than go for a 200+ km range missile??

What is Pakistan' immediate need??

QR SAM,Short Range and Medium ranged sam are more important.
