Haha, that was a movie mate. You would inflict major damage to the fuselage of an airliner if you tried to open its doors in-flight. They usually dump fuel to reduce weight when needed, which in our case is counterproductive. Plus it still wouldn't be enough to avoid the Indian airspace completely.
