I see a disconnect between military statement of going to any length to fulfil the obligations made to Kashmiri people, and FO saying that military option is not on the table. He should have left the ambiguity.

There is a sinister narrative I sense creeping our way, through our own segment of libturds, specially in social media, the PML(N) media wing. If the situation is allowed to stay as it is, with no meaningful actions taken to punish India severely, the voices will start raising about the utility of keeping such high number of armed forces and defence expenditures.

People need to understand where this might lead to. That is a narrative which no one will be able to duck or counter.

Already a SU-30 is down 1000 miles away in Assam....

The East Pak was 1000 miles away from the West Pak....

Pakistan's official response should be this:

"All options are on the table."

This is why Indians are not taking us seriously, they have noted that WE no longer have sufficient political will for doing much about IOK.

The rest of you here do make a decent point about us trying to look mature in front of the world but to that I would counter: where has that EVER gotten us? Has any nation suddenly taken notice of our mature statements and decided to help us or change their stance on an issue of significance???

Do I need to remind everyone here that in February the world pressed the red alert button only when we raided Hindustani territory with mirages. Why? Because we didn't play by the script they expected! For once we didn't say "we don't want war, we love everyone with flowers". We simply said "watch this space".

We need to play smart and keep the world guessing. Or at least keep India guessing. Far better to be ambiguous and never rule out x or y or z.

Why give India leverage by saying ok, we are considering only x and y but not z??

This is a naive and inexperienced display. Qureishi and Lodhi and other spokespersons should simply say: "we have not ruled out any course of action. The full impact of India's reckless and illegal attempt at appropriation of internationally declared disputed territory is not yet known. We are consulting with relevant stakeholders but our next actions depend on how events on the ground unfold."

There. Bang. Immediately we warn India that we can do anything, and at the same time, we answer the question by reminding the world whose fault this mess actually is.

If pressed by some journo asking if that means war is an option, respond with "this question has already been addressed".

Keep India guessing, just like DSPR does so excellently.
