Pakistan’s first female football club breaks down cultural barriers

I feel the same way. Plus with all the politics being brought into cricket due to some countries its not fun to watch cricket anymore!

I know people in Pakistan watch/play football regularly (probably more than they watch ODI cricket matches) I hope that people will start concentrating on football.

infact to watch football passion grew when PTV showed 1998 world cup, I remember me and my cousins waiting all night for a match at 3 am !

It's the best sport ever and bigot ignored in Pakistan we are ranked 177th in the world there was a time we used to beat japan remember that ?

I have learned that we are quick to blame the government without hesitating a second, yet forget about our two hands that remain idle !

No one has stopped us to dream to built something for our community, but we are too busy stuffing our homes with consumer goods...

Yeah but its the governments job to help build sports facilities and training centers to help sports progress in Pakistan. If I had the money to do that I would, but I don't.

I read somewhere that one of the athletes that participated in the Olympics a while back still hasn't received his gold medal due to the incompetence of the government. If the government is not going to reward you for your hard work or help you, then people wont be encouraged to try

encouragement is definitely required motivational factor that is missing from the government in particular and rest in general.

but still excuses are not a good justification if you have the will... I dont have money either, but I have a dream and where there is a will there is a way... atleast each one of us should have one project in our mind in our respected field that may serve the community.

Its shame for us to break our own cultural barrierz...I guess something big gonna happen very soon...nobody will ever guess about that, death might follow us everywhere and we be trying to run away helplessly...cuz we realli lost our right way...
