Pakistan Research Output Growth Highest in South Asia:SJR

Bro, if I am not wrong, the whole thread is about growth of Research growth of Pak in South Asia? This isnt a comparison?

And dont take high moral ground here, you are nothing to me, and in that sense you looking like idiot.

LOL...U r drunk man...Go home..genius..what an idiot...:lol::lol:

When it comes to quality, there isn't a huge difference.

Can some one give a pair of glasses to OP.

Total number of research outputs given in 10yrs by pakistan is less than what India did in single year of 2004.
So even if Pakistan output grows by 500% then also there annual output would in research field will be less than what India would do in 1 month. So growth rate matters only when the base is same, when there is huge difference in base it doesnt matter.

I dont drink thankyou, but think about yourself, before commenting about other.

If it was that easy why arent you there yet.

The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Pakistan expanded 5 percent in the third quarter of 2013 over the same quarter of the previous year. GDP Annual Growth Rate in Pakistan averaged 4.95 Percent from 1952 until 2013.

Don't confuse research output with GDP , jeez .

A good question:
What the hell is wrong with Iranians? :sarcastic:

All in all,
As an Iranian, I hope the best for Pakistan.
We have so much potentials that should be put into action.
And we also should believe in this fact that,
We might be down these days, but definitely we are not out.

I thought this was a news article, apparently not.

The OP actually went and looked all this data up.

To be quite honest, most of the papers coming out of the non-Western and Eastern European world is horseshit.

true, its basically copy and paste with references. only research in it is finding material

Anti indian? Nationalist ? Did I even mention "india" in my posts or anything wrt nationalism ? Just because some idiot from india doesn't know tht china n Malaysia aren't part of South Asia or me wishing this trend to continue doesn't make me a hater or some ultra nationalists (I'm a proud nationalist -yes)..

So what the hell are you ranting about?

its not you bro its them and their low self esteem, if you say Pakistan did this better they take it as if you were saying India is bad

Anyway i am disappoined as we are the still within 10k mark as i thought this year we will jump from 9k to 14k.

We need to increase our Growth rate to atleast 30% per year to reach 20k mark by 2018

Thx man i was begging to feel good about our achievement, but someone had to Destroy that moment

Well Even considering the Combined Publication Growth rate forecast by SJR.Pakistan will post a higher Growth rate than India(upto 2018)

Well when your output is small your growth rate is very good but great news for Pakistan

It is research in the same way that 2+2 is mathematics and the study of complex systems is also mathematics.

This is a undergrad thesis paper I recently read:

http://www.iaeme.com/MasterAdmin/Up...ATLAB/DESIGN OF SOLID SHAFTS USING MATLAB.pdf

I had to do a similar exercise for an assignment for one of my units last year.

High impact research should be ultimate goal it is firmly in grip of US and Europe till now e.g. just compare small Switzerland and Netherlands with China in terms of quality output.

Yeah me too. I can not imagine why they have taken a dive. They are improving all HDI figures, what is wrong here then? Do they not spend more on education than us as %age of GDP?
The numbers just don't add up, considering the significant progress that BD has made in the last decade, research output should be higher, not a decrease. Either BD is lying through it's teeth about it's numbers, or someone made a mistake.
