POWER
Power on the World Stage

The annual U.S. News Power Ranking is a survey among approximately 21,000 managers, political and cultural elites and well-informed citizens to determine the world's most powerful countries. Taking into account political and economic influence, military alliances and the strength of the army, the ranking includes some 80 countries and shows their relative importance on the world stage.

The top of the 2017 ranking displays no real surprises, with the United States, Russia and China forming the top three, followed by two other Security Council members and Germany. Of the Middle Eastern countries Israel ranks the highest, mostly a result of the strength of the Israeli army.

Interestingly, the chart shows that power and wealth are not always interrelated. Countries with a relatively low GDP per capita, like India and Pakistan, rank higher than the Netherlands on account of the size of their army. The country with the highest GDP per capita, the United Arab Emirates, holds a relatively modest 10th place in the ranking. In 10th place, it however still outranks Canada, Iran and Australia, all countries with a considerable larger territory than the UAE!

If we Play our Cards well, have a Strong Leader and know our worth among the many Islamic Countries, we would have been in top 15 or Top 10

Why would Iran or Saudi Arabia follow Pakistan ? Or what kind of Pakistan would it take for Saudi Arabia or Iran to follow Pakistan ?

I never say anyone should or will Follow Pakistan, but if we have a Stronger Leader, and we did play our Cards well enough, we would have been much much stronger than both Countries ..we already are, but many of our people care more for KSA and Iran than Pakistan.

Cant wait for the fanboys to start circle jerking each other off, facts like these matter for nothing, we are still a laughing stock of the world, the Arabs treat us like crap (and wee let them), and so do the Americans, Europeans, Iranians, hell even the bloody Afghans, it really boils my blood seeing my country in this state.
The only reason we are where we are is because of such delusions of grandeur.

if you are more powerful the expectation is that countries will follow you. it is natural.

This is just a feel good thread, it has no meaning in the real world.

Good luck.

Just another my d**k is bigger than yours ranking.

21,000 managers, political and cultural elites and well-informed citizens
These people must be US citizens, and here comes personal biasness.
Secondly, all these ranking/rating agencies have their interests and usually work for the interests/betterment of their financers.

India is not a super power and wont be for a long time.
They have crippling poverty, high population growth, low GDP per capita, and massive corruption
