The latest episode between the two warring neighbours.
For over the last two years, the Indian establishment, hand in glove with it's armed forces has been desperately trying to convince it's public that India carried out a surgical strike against Pakistan, to lend weight to it's claims, every few months, the Indians come up with a new story. The latest being that Indian soldiers smeared themselves with Leopard urine to scare off the guard Dogs in Pakistani villages as the Indians went about their so called mission. Earlier after much deliberation, some video footage of the assault was released, however, in their enthusiasm, the Indians failed to realise that the so called surgical strike was claimed to have been carried out from dark until wee hours of the morning, where as the video footage was clearly shot in broad daylight to convince the unsuspecting audience. Furthermore after sheepishly bypassing the first year, the Indian authorities suddenly decided to celebrate the second anniversary of the strikes. Moving away from this, since both armies are often engaged in exchange of fire across the LOC, it's also become habitual to make claims and counter claims, with Pakistan usually giving the lines that it had targeted Indian positions, causing casualties to the enemy and damage to their infrastructure. However the Indians always seem to be precise with their claims, whatever the technology they may have acquired, the Indians are always keen to give a breakdown of their claims thus impressing how many Pakistani soldiers they killed, how many they wounded and even the number of bunkers busted, posts destroyed or trees uprooted. Every effort is made to send oblivious Indian public into a frenzy. Why doesn't Pakistan Army makes such claims, is it because such tall claims serve no purpose except to fool your own public. If in any doubt, take this week for example, in four consecutive days, four Indian soldiers were killed by Pakistani fire on LOC but not once did Pakistan Army made any claims or noise about it and had the Indian Army made these kills, the Indian media and public would have gone into a frenzy fully backed by the Indiann Army.....i guess this is the difference between being professional and incompetent.

It is clearly mentioned daylight pics are taken by the recconaisance team which went in earlier. The surgical strikes happened early morning.

Not at all.
It is actually only India which publicly states all it's casualties.
Infact Indian media even announces the unit, village, age, service length of all the soldier in just few hours.
On the other hand it has been established beyond doubt that ISPR does not report most of it's LoC casualties to the media. The Pakistani media unlike Indian media is heavily dependent on army spokespersons for casualty news.
Pakistan even refused to divulge LoC casualty stats multiple times in own senate.
Last but not the least the 2018 GHQ investiture ceremony also lent credence to this.

Yes, this is said in Pakistan parliament that we can't disclose casualty because negative impact will be rise.

One of the many versions said, it started at midnight until early morning....meaning several hours and yet no response. LOL. In the so called strike video supposedly captured by helmet mounted cameras, one can clearly see the Sun blazing overghead.

Your frivolous media just for the ratings always carry their own version of stories, the so called terror boat humiliation being a prime example.

Does revealing price of the Rafales ring any bells.

there are many ways to make an opinion about differing style of narrative by 2 neighbors.

in my view it is not about professionalism of one country and the incompetence of the other but its about the importance one country gives about building a narrative re its power and its invincibility and superiority to all of its neighbors. India has dedicated civilian, intelligence and military resources devoted for this purpose to build a national and international narrative and then there is a large pool of blowhard Internet Hindu patriots that add further pimp up this narrative specially against Pakistan.
Pakistan on the other hand doesn't have such motivation. hence anything that is said or written is very brief and lacks the "fluf" you see in the Indian propaganda.
this is neither a criticism or a praise to one side or another but just highlighting the importance (bordering obsession) one side gives regarding a hostile narrative against the other. for a Pakistani commentator our narrative is very professional and tamed whereas the Indian observer will see it excessive and find his narrative befitting and superior.

there is a thing called Perceptual Satiation. it refers to a point in time where the recipient of this specially tailored "package" just stops taking anymore of it and all the catch phrases and notions and claims and bragging become meaningless. it is in contrast to the argument of mass and repeated delivery of a narrative (advert, claim, bragging, propaganda) which the targeted audience will eventually take in.

Pakistan bashing sells in India, its good for business and its good for politics. in Pakistan India features very low in the pile. pick up any 2 or 3 random programs on TV or news articles its about religious intolerance, liberal movements, injustice, political corruption and the interference of establishment in affairs of the state.

but I must say. this surgical strike drama has become a comic now.
there is big money to be made if there are films and other merchandise, stamps and other collectibles introduced in the right time.

I watch Pakistani news channels religiously, and I've yet to ever hear the name of bhart, except for when cricket matches are played. On the other hand, if one of the indian politician's mother is suffering from a hemorrhoid, then Pakistan is the culprit on their media channels. Such obsession is sick and unhealthy for these buggers.

Psychologically speaking...

Confidence is Silent.
Insecurities are loud.
The more noise one creates, the greater the insecurity of having said something even they don't believe to be true.

Incompetent or not but they are totally insecure...

this practice of Pakistan criticism is in line with state policy of India. we can call it excessive or obsession but it is planned. except Pakistan, India has subdued every other smaller neighboring country around it.

militarily it knows it cant defeat Pakistan and will incur excessive loss and risk flight of foreign investment and interest which it has built over the decades, so it has switched to economic and psychological warfare, water warfare and diplomatic warfare. no Indian can be hurt in all the dramatized and CGI aided adventures of its "heroes" that go out to "Punish" Pakistan and it gives a hard on to the general Indian public.

I came across a video of an Indian blogger who visited Islamabad and Lahore and another one who saw non political random Pakistani videos of city lives and they were pleasantly surprised to see how different Pakistan and Pakistanis are to a negative narrative built by their television and their state.

our best counter will be soft power projection its a subjective matter though

. .
if india can show 71 pics so why not it provides clear surgical strikes ones..
