LAHORE: President Asif Ali Zardari said Pakistan attached great importance to early completion of Pak-Iran gas pipeline project in view of energy crisis in the country.

The President called for stepping up efforts for early completion of all the bilateral projects of Pakistan and Iran, in a meeting with Speaker of Iranian Majlis Shura Ali Ardeshir Larijaniat Bilawal House here.

Spokesperson to the President Senator Farhatullah Babar said the President during the meeting reiterated Pakistan's commitment to implement expeditiously all mega projects, including the Pak-Iran gas pipeline, the 1000 MW Taftan-Quetta transmission line, 400 MW Gwader power supply project, Noshki-Dalbandin highway and up-gradation of the Quetta-Taftan track.

The President stressed upon the need for devising appropriate mechanisms to finance these critical projects.

election times are near and all of a sudden this guy remembers that he has a country to take care of.
It must be nice of him to take a vacation from looting and think about the country.

How early? before his re-election or after?

It is better, if we compile all jokes of this IP gas pipeline in one thread.

My request is to start a flight for the pilgrims, who goes through the risky highway along Afghan border and loose their lives in ambushes.
