Pakistan: Police foil suicide bombing; 2 policemen wounded

Despite the surprise attack the police succeeded in blowing up the speeding car bomb without suffering fatalities to themselves or damage to their station.

(Perhaps "Wow" is a bit weak but it's the first thought that came to my mind.)
Did you really bother to read or you just came to post ?

Did you not read that two officers were wounded ? Or were you disappointed that why no greater damage had taken place ?

All those who are praising this police act of shooting at the car, were criticizing the Islamabad police officer who did the same. People must understand that most of the times there is not enough time to do anything else once the vehicle refuses to stop and keeps coming or speeds up. People must understand we are living in a war zone with desperate enemies to strike big. Please follow the police instructions first then think about other things or be ready to get shot at and be killed.

PESHAWAR, Pakistan – A Pakistani police officer says police have foiled a Taliban suicide car bombing in the northwestern city of Bannu.

Abdul Majeed Khan says guards at a police station opened fire at a speeding car packed with explosives before it could ram into the station's main gate on Tuesday.

Khan says the driver, who appeared to be in his late 20s, died in the explosion. Two policemen were wounded in the blast.

Mohammad Khurasani, a Pakistani Taliban spokesman, claimed responsibility for the attack. The Taliban and allied Islamic militants have been waging a war on the Pakistani government that has killed tens of thousands over the last decade.

Get smart now, learn about info wars when u post a news and if it isnt edited edit it on ur part, always call these rascals ttp not taliban, it implies that these dogs are the same as the afghan taliban hence it sends out a bad message, be aware of pakistan national security interests abroad, specifically in its neighbour hood, not when we are looking to plant the other group in kabul with russian and chinese backing now..
