Hazrat these are arty shells! Not mortar.
zee newsSources reveal that Pakistan is extremely interested in purchasing these and has instructed its embassies around the world to hunt for a viable deal.
Continuing with its ploy of targeting Indian security forces in Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan plans to make use of GPS-guided mortar for precision attacks in the time to come.
It has been learnt that Pakistan is in the weapons market to purchase the special and technologically advanced mortar which only a few countries currently have in their arsenal. Apart from some European countries, China also has these special mortars although Beijing has kept its features and abilities classified.

The GPS-enabled mortar with other countries - apart from China which has kept its special mortars secret - can target enemy establishments with extreme accuracy. According to an official in the Indian Defence Ministry, the directions and target of these mortars can be altered even after they are fired, making them deadly for even mobile enemy units. Security analysts say that some of these mortars can also differentiate between enemy and friendly forces.
In the past, the United States has made use of GPS-enabled mortar to target Taliban in Afghanistan, and with a high degree of success. As such, technological development of these mortars is a constant process - making the new variants even more deadly.

https://defence.pk/pdf/threads/use-of-laser-guided-gps-mortars-kill-2-indian-jawans.460205/Lol My thread about a Yr ago. We have these PG weapons. And as we are the only ones to use the Military version of Beido other than the PLA. We don't need GPS.
US no more with Pakisthan, stop relying on GPS..Try Beidou that might be better option.
Your desperation is quite clear when u have taken the time to spell Pakistan wrong in all of your posts. Why are you all so obsessed with us? This could get dangerous for you, it's not good for health.Regional blocking of GPS is very much possible.
US and China has signed a joint statement on civil signal compatibility and interoperability between the Global Positioning System (GPS) and the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS).
I hope Pakisthan is not relying on civil signal compatibility and interoperability, as there have been examples of signal distortion possibility.
And if its based on XM395 related kit, the the kit cost would be more than $12,000 each, which will dent Forex budget severely if country goes for 1000s of mortars.
Look inside, else while you are day dreaming about India, the backyard would get changed.
Yeah that's the one. Like I said this capability is only getting bigger.
Why buy it when we can easily make it?Sources reveal that Pakistan is extremely interested in purchasing these and has instructed its embassies around the world to hunt for a viable deal.

If its mortar that can be guided and the directions for these mortars can be altered, then either they must be too costly toy to be called a mortar or they are flying too slow for the distance that they need to be cover. In any of those cases this is more deadly for pakistan
Why buy it when we can easily make it?
