I fail to see the point of this thread and these outrageous accusations. What is the meaning of American safe havens? If militants are attacking Pakistani check posts on the border, how does that lead you to assume that we are providing a safe haven of some sort to militants? Is this just another U.S. bashing thread, without rhyme or reason? The officials apparently quoted in the article do not even mention anything about the identity of the militants. Of course there will be attacks by the militants, your military is conducting an operation in that region but what does that have anything to do with the United State military, I fail to see the connection especially when we give military aid to the Pakistani military as part of our support for their counterinsurgency efforts. There are factsheets and numerous data on that military assistance, at some point you have to realize that the facts draw a contradictory picture and such accusations do not even make common sense.

US routinely targets and kills both Afghan and Pakistan Taliban (who btw are the same.. only diff in strategies). Who killed Hakimulla, Nek Mohd, Baitullah etc?

If USA is indeed supporting TTP, why does Pakistan FULLY support the USA (bases, logistics, intel etc)

The consulates were established in 2008 when the Northern voilence came to power,but before that the Taliban were ruling 90% of Afghanistan.Lastly the militants whom Pakistan had supported,nurtured,nourished have come to roost.
It is only after the Karachi Airport attack,Pakistan woke up from the deepest slumber.
