In disaster relief, anti-terrorism, material delivery amphibious landing ship is more practical than the aircraft carrier. Even more important is that China is also ready to develop a vertical takeoff and landing fighter.

Pakistan doesnt need any such thing until our economy is so big that we need carriers to project power across continents, think 20 yrs down the line, all we need right now is destroyers, frigates n nuke subs...

It will be useless for pakistan as in any foreseeable scenario, it does not seem that pakistan may have to go far away from their land and carry out any operation against any other country.

lol and its operational cost will be half or maybe 70% of our GDP, in the same time when we have 1/3rd of Pakistanis at home which are desperately poor and some 100 million in Poverty.
