Maybe the HQ-19, since the HQ-9 is only SAM.

China's HQ-19 was deployed in the December 2014, so if Pakistan really needs as the national urgency, China wouldn't mind to share the technology.

The hierarchy of the PLA's anti BM shield is DN3 > DN2 > DN1, HQ-26, HQ-19, HQ-29.

And the S-400 is just the ice on the cake, and China purchased few S-400 system just to show its support for Russia's military industrial complex, more political gesture than actual need.

well , I am so glad that Chinese is working on a Capable Anti BM shield, cause Pakistan can rely on China for Top Notch technology .. but i will still say that way to go forward for Pakistan is HQ-16 > HQ-9 > HQ-19 ( some where around 2030 )

Yep, the MKV version of the DN3 is indeed the most powerful type of anti-BM systems, but it is too complicated and relying on too many space and ground assets.

The HQ-19 is less complicated like THAAD, and it requires far less space and ground assets, so it is cheaper and much easier to operate and to maintain.

hopefully Pakistan will revive its Satellite program by 2030 , but until than we can work by HQ-9, as so far we got India Covered, and their Anti BM capabilities is no where near US/China

every System has its weakness, so when there is a new system like SAM or Stealth , countries quickly start working on its weakness to counter it ..

All anti-BM defense systems rely on calculating the ballistic trajectory of the ballistic missile, when something traveling in the non-ballistic trajectory, then the entire system becomes clueless and doesn't know how to intercept it.

To deal with the non-ballistic HGV, only the super powerful anti-missile laser in the future can defeat it.

I don't think the Chinese systems could be expensive compared to its American counterparts.

For example, the DDG-1000 is 4.5 billion, while the Type 055 is less than 1 billion.

This is not a given.

The base cost of a product rests upon 3 aspects; (1) the level of its electronic sophistication; (2) quality of components; and (3) specifications. However, total cost of the same product incorporates additional layer of costs such as taxes and transportation charges.

I have seen some really expensive Chinese products in the markets - good quality ones.

In my experience, there is no such thing as getting a product with the price tag of 1000 USD at half its price from another source - something is amiss otherwise.
