I think it would be better to invest in sports that poorer people can get into. hockey is after all an 'elitist' kind of sport, since you need specialised equipment and need to have access to a hockey field.

Money should go into boxing, wrestling, football, athletics, mma, etc.

something that will appeal and be affordable to the common person, and also be accessible for the urban population since you can play all of these sports in a standard gymnasium

We are not the ones denying athletes visa. Sport is sport and should be kept separate from the usual nonsense that your leaders spout from time to time to gain votes and divert attentions from the real problems. So till the time India actually grows up and knows how to keep politics aside from sporting events, i think i am fine in calling out your kind for what they really are.

The women World Cup 2018 will take place in London.
Netherlands will participate without visa and India will apply visa ON TIME!! Otherwise we will be disqualified. That is the simple logic.
