No it's not. The guy posting on twitter is also a member here and he also took from same source from where I did. But not twitter. We have few friend who report to us directly with proof. We can't share that proof. And by the way this news is not even surprising or let say a news. Because Pakistan openly ordered 3 new AWACS I think one and a half year and back and by mid of 2018 first ones were supposed to arrive. So I don't know why people are so shocked here.

I have been shown proof and this doesn't even need much of a proof. This is one and half a year old and now I just the order we gave the first two ones have arrived and soon we would also get the third one. It was already known that by end of 2017 and 2018 first of these 3 new AWACS will come I don't why people are acting so shocked. We were going for 3 new AWACs that was known to every one we just got first two of our order. Although the real surprising thing for me is we got Jets they would be turned into AWACs inside Kamra. The radar kit will come separately they would get fitted at KAMRA

I am unsure about the radar being fitted at Kamra although perfectly plausible, the planes would then have to fly to Sweden to get quality assurance certificate passed by OEM. So I am not saying it cannot happen but to my inexpert opinion it seems unlikely.

Same wise we did when we repaired the jets at KAMRA. We didn't send Jets to be repaired at Sweden in fact they refused they said it's not possible we just bought radar kits from them and they were fitted at KAMRA
