ISLAMABAD: Pakistan is likely to get $225 million in January to stabilise the depleting foreign reserves of the country and the Bank Credit Suisse will play an important role in generating the required amount.
A delegation of Bank Credit Suisse said this during its meting with finance minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar here on Thursday, a senior official who attended the meeting told The News.
The official said that the Bank Credit Suisse’s officials told the minister of growing interest of international capital markets in Pakistan. “Their is a very strong appetite for holding Pakistan’s Securities as is reflected in continuously declining yields on Pakistan’s existing bonds listed abroad,” they said.
