What's new

Pakistan is the 4th most likely country in the world to default in 2022

Going over treacherous himaliyan terrain and road journey? I doubt it can replace mellaca strait. About 25% of entire world's shipment goes via that narrow strait. I doubt a mountain road can even attempt to replace it especially with things like oil.

Not to mention it passes way near to hostile territory.

China anyways has a path to central Asia and Europe via Russia.

As far as India goes, for China, India is not a big enough threat anymore.

You are a retard aren't you? Did you have a look at the world map?

Lol what a moron you are. China also has to go through the treacherous Pamir mountain range to reach Central Asian Republics.

China goes to Pakistan through the Khunjerab Pass. That is not the only mountain pass to Pakistan as well.
There are other mountain Passes in Pakistan that goes to China.

You Sir are a moron, there are quite a few mountain passes between Pakistan and China. Khunjerab Pass is the only developed Mountain Pass.

LOL I was about to say.

This Indian is a cunning fvck. He pretends to be a PDM supporter.
Yeah these fvcking Indiots pretend to be neutral and impartial on Pakistani forums, but on Indian websites and forums they openly insult Pakistanis, Muslims, or wish for our destruction.

We have every right to do the same on our side as well.

China doesn't gain ALOT that we all think by developing Gwadar or Karachi port because most of the China is actually their East side, the whole west side is barren and barely any industrialization.

It might be true that most Chinese live on the East coast. This is what Chinese people told me in Saudi Arabia.

However the Chinese can transport resources and oil through the Khunjerab Pass and other mountain passes through the Karakorum Range bypassing the Malacca Straits. Thus reaching the strategic cities of Urumqi and Lhasa.

This is a huge advantage for the Chinese.

And rising China, it is rising.

General Leang.

Transporting good from their western side is extremely expensive and not feasible.

No, I disagree with you.

Even their Political Scientists say that the Khunjerab Pass is a huge time saver and money saver when bypassing the Malacca straits which very expensive and time consuming.

If that were true and the ports had that much importance, they would have been developed by now. CPEC has been on pause for years now.

Ummm...No...CPEC is on stage 2.

China is also developing a seaport in Sri Lanka.

Check your sources.

@waz Check this Pakistani account. Probably it is an Indian pretending to be a Pakistani.

@MultaniGuy

Multani Bhai,

China needs to help Pakistan industrialize, needs to buy manufactured goods from Pakistan, needs to build more Confucius Institutes in Pakistan.

Why does China need to do all of these? I mean for its own sake. Why it needs to do it for Pakistan's sake is quite clear.

Regards

Pfffft! Each day about 300 ships cross Malacca strait. Berth capacity of Gwadar WILL BE (and NOT currently) is just 150 ships in 2045. Forget it replacing even a fraction of traffic through Malacca strait. And lets not even talk about Qasim and Karachi port.

Lastly, if Malacca strait is blocked, presumely by western powers, blocking mouth of perssian gulf will even easier.

Gwadar's importance as a replacement of Malacca strait is only a myth.

Oh and you are a fukken moron!

Indiot, we know you cannot tolerate development in a Muslim country. lol.

not surprisingly there are countries that support India, because it is at odds with Pakistan and China.
