What's new

Pakistan is most racially tolerant country in Asia

Pakistan looks like an island of peace, surrounded by darker colours implying forces of hate.

Hopefully, we'll get the issue mentioned by @Indus Pakistan resolved very soon as well.

What Indus Pakistan has mentioned can only be resolved through a national stand against the forces of bigotry. It starts within our own social circles and social media. Drown out their voices - and actively engage with minority communities.

The only thing this proves , is what people are psychologically primed to answer such questions in a PC manner.
The very thing i hate about western culture is the PC fakeness apparently its also popular in Pakistan.

oh yeah. India, home of brahmins and hinduism-led Dalit discrimination is way more tolerant than Pakistan.

Now from your incoherent bumbling, what im about to make out, is that you seem to think im defending India,
I'm not .
What I'm trying to say is , i would rather know that someone doesn't like me on my face, than have him smile on my face and stab me in the back later. Very common in PC societies.

clearly you are putting most of the blame on Pakistan and Kashmiri muslims. believe what you want, mr kashmiri pandit.

India is the most racist...that makes it the most intolerant and most bigoted.

It is an Apartheid country(any country where human beings are not equal), don't know why it is called a democracy.

as much as it is surprising for many ...but it is true...we tolerate everything, despite having multiple ethnicities and sect, there are far less communal/ sectarian riots/ disturbances in pakistan compare to India, afghanistan, Iraq, Syria etc....we also tolerate corruption, treason and much more...

Not quite. The results of the study are not surprising, if one keeps in mind that the survey was about tolerance towards other races. Race does not play a major role in most Pakistanis' psyche.

In fact, if the question remained the same but was geared towards cast, religion, politics, or pretty much anything else, I'd wager that the results would still largely remain the same. We are pretty tolerant when it comes to letting people live or be where they want to be.

A sturdier question geared towards religion, however, would be a completely different story. Say, "would you let an Ahmadi be appointed as an advisor to the government?", "Should Pakistani Hindus be allowed to build new temples in the country?", "Should non-Muslims be allowed to preach their religion in the country?", etc.

PS: We are not a PC nation.

Ok fair enough , I could accept that Pakistan as the odd one out of the bunch depicted here .

But as someone who has had first hand experience with the closeted kind of human vermin that seem to be doing well one this survey.

One would be rather happier living in any country that does poorly on this survey,
if Anything this tells me what people are honest with themselves and others around them.

Barring militant elements and political discourse, the racial tolerance in todays Pakistan has historical precedence. Punjab, for example, has had non-Punjabis freely settling among Punjabis for hundreds if not thousands of years. Many, at times even within one generation, become indistinguishable from ethnic Punjabis. The millions of migrants during and after 1947 are a good example. So are Niazis who are Pushtoons by ethnicity but Punjabi in almost every other way. The Saraiki ethnicity, which btw is the fourth largest ethnic group in the country, is what you get when you put Sindhis, Balochis, Pushtoons, and Punjabis in a blender. The assimilation of the Sheedi people and their reasons to settle in Sindh and southern Balochistan are both great examples. Only half of Balochistan is Balochi. Inter-ethnic marriages are quite common. Also common for families to be spread across the country. So on and so forth.

That is clearly not true.

Pakistan is very tolerant, be it towards black people or white , people in Pakistan also view them as guest and treats them like them, yes the people in Pakistan might call him a kala, but they don’t mean it in a racial way, most people in Pakistan are just curious, same goes for white people who visit Pakistan Who get called a gora.

Unless your a Ahmedi, Pork eater then you get toasted ....
Ahmedi is a religion not a race. Yes there is religious intolerance and extremism in Pakistan, but the metric under discussion in this thread is racial tolerance - in which Pakistan seems to be doing surprisingly good.

I am the most patriotic Pakistan on PDF and other fora. For me Pakistan is No. 1. One of my favourite posters here is @PAKISTANFOR simplt because he brings a very uber-nationalist POV.

But don't conflate "self hating" with being able to be critical and having your logical reasoning faculties switched on.

Good riddance to this poster please mods permaban him.. I know his under ban but he will be out of jail in few weeks. Just give him the one way ticket
