The Institute for Science & International Security & Arms Control Wonk have typically done some pretty good work with respect to Pakistan’s nuclear weapons program expansion. I’d wait till they publish their analyses on these claims.
you mean like PDF does? 5% pro-Pak 45% garbage the remainder pro bharat-Iran-turkey-bongol propaganda

oops became confused between Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies and Institute for Science & International Security & Arms Control

apology to Institute for Science & International Security & Arms Control

He is also the same guy who busted their journalist Rahul Kanwal when Rahul was trying to portray MIG 21 parts as F-16 parts.

I like seeing them desperate.
yes but if they repeat their bull enough times it is taken and treated as (even though not believed) truth to bash Pakistan with

WMDs (weapons of mass deception) are more potent than nukes!

I dont get it, hypothetically speaking even if true, so what?
The Indians like to use any form of Pakistani military expansion/growth (especially nuclear weapons related) as an excuse to start screaming hysterically about how 'Pakistan is an unsafe, unstable country to have weapons' and how 'they'll be used against India', the worlds largest democracy, a bastion of secularism, tolerance and peace, home to an ancient civilization that was flying in space, surfing the web and transplanting animal heads onto human bodies many thousands of years ago.

Every country has the right to project its views that serve its own national interests as best as possible. Pakistan is totally free to present a better counter argument that will win over world opinion.

The truth is that if this news is true, it is terrible news for Hindustan.

The more the Indians cry the better. There is no power in the world that can do anything about our nukes. We will expand our capability whenever we wish. They are here to stay and we will do everything in our power to protect the assets.

As long as Uncle SAM doesn't minds keep doing it .

Heck let Uncle Sam mind and let's see what they do about it.

surely you mean an injun banshee (herald (in this case a wisher) of the death of a family member by shrieking)! I've come across many a great dehati khatoon in my travels (none were like these analists)

AgNoStiC MuSliM or waz would you please restore my reply to Horus? cheers!

I believe Pakistan HAS presented a better counter-argument, & is continuing to demonstrate responsible nuclear command and controls (controlling terrorism domestically has helped as well of course) - it’s why the flood of breathlessly hysterical, doomsday opinion pieces, editorials and analyses in the West have gone down to an insignificant trickle.

It is no surprise that the better players win the game. That is the way international geopolitics always work, always have and always will, till the next round, as a never ending game.

If Pakistan's counter-argument is believed to be successful, can it be expected to join the NSG at some point? That would be an appropriate yardstick.

The counter-argument on safety and security is getting traction. Admission into the NSG isn’t about the safety and security of Pakistan’s nuclear weapons program as much as it is about the economic & geo-political benefits Pakistan can offer the members (at least the most influential ones) of the NSG.
