In international politics, no country comes to be respected unless it posses creditable might to wage offensive wars..just nuclear weapons alone will not cut it...we need to go far greater...if Pakistan was included in sanctions list..UAE and Saudi would support it to..goes to show who are our sincere friends...the very Arabs whose shoe we carry on our head with pride..

I think this is good way to start for the administration re Pakistan. While Pakistani establishment talks big they fold 99.99% of the time when given an ultimatum, so no need for major action such as travel moratorium, at least for now. They also know after the Abbottabad raids that we won't tolerate dishonesty beyond a point.
Economic restrictions such as conditional aid, tightly managed intelligence reporting including supply of gps coordinates, and continued action on terrorist camps are sufficient for now. However it will be in Pakistan's interest to demonstrate they have changed by acting against jihadis such as Hafees et al and the Haqqani gangsters etc. Finally, there is some good talent among Pakistanis diaspora that should not be wasted

With one 45 years old victory, that too was entirely Soviet owned for which the USSR was scattetred into 15 pieces and Mr. Putin can't still soothe his anger, some folks are still beyond themselves. I can understand your frustration who was hoping that Trump will act tougher on Pakistan but alas...Again, Indian hopes and happiness turns to be very short sighted/lived....

On topic : Trump is generally idiot and rude...The way he has treated Australia and Mexico tells something...Pakistan is going good...
