Israr Kasana on the ball.

He is spot on regarding General Bajwa. I had been saying this for ages. Bajwa has to act now.
And that he was instrumental to let Nawaz get out of Pakistan.

Why Nawaz has became active due to the pending review by FATF on Pakistan's removal from Grey List.

All Bajwa can do is resign and allow someone to come as COAS who is competent and can clean the mess. Alas Bajwa wont resign.

He just doesn't seem to want to do anything. There is no charm, charisma or authority about him unlike former Gen Raheel shareef. He seems like another Gen Kyani, a tea biscuit meeting General. He is the type of a person you'd be friends with and play cricket over the weekend.

Mind giving an example?
1) Break up of East Pakistan, 2) Bhutto sentenced to the death, 3) Benazir fleeing the country with Pakistans wealth 4) Kargil war 5) Nawaz Musharraf spat leading to militery coup 6) Pak forced into US war on terrorism after 9/11, 7) countless terrorist attacks killing politicians, militery, police, minorities/citizens, 8) on going instability in Balochestan, 9) war in former FATA, 10) 5 years of corruption by PPP resulting in Karachi becoming a war zone, 11) Nawaz back in power while issue relating to Panama papers revealed, 12) PTI in power with the opposition forming an alliance causing more trouble and disunity.......
As sad as it is the country will continue to face hurdles brought on by the disunity from within.

Those who are asking for an example, plenty given in the above post by Samurai.

I will just add few more points. Nawaz is causing all the ripples with the usual suspects like Fazloo and Uchakzai. Take example of Nawaz and how he had been given favours by (all) 3 recent COAS.

1- Kiyani was hands in gloves with the corrupt thug during Lawyers movement.
2- Instrumental to give NRO's to the politicians.
3- Raheel Sharif didn't wanted to stay behind, so he gave reliefs to treacherous lot during Dawn Leak fiasco. Specially to Maryam, he gave Nawaz the good news himself that he had excluded Maryam from the enquiry, so she could be free to become "Bandit Queen" of Pakistan.
4- Bajwa was instrumental to let Nawaz go out of Pakistan by deception to the nation.

Like Kasana rightly said, when you do compromises you end up doing more compromises.
These crooks should have been taken head on and the mess is cleared immediately.
Pakistani establishment is not learning from their mistakes for last 70 years.

How long Pakistanis are going to wait!!

When you have power hungry people this will happen. Nawaz shareef was let go as Bajwa sahab wanted him to vote for his extension and not cause any problems.

This has also ruined meritocracy in the army. We need an army chief who is politically aware but DOES NOT destroy meritocracy.

When an army chief takes extensions, who will stop a corrupt bureaucrat from doing the same?

I would suggest making every army chief president of Pakistan after 2 years of retirement. For instance, when Raheel Shareef retired in 2016, he could have been made the president in 2018. A retired army chief as pres will show a strong federation symbol and armed forces will also be happy that one of their own is Commander in Chief.

Bajwa for his extension gave them deals. Open and shut case of ppp stopped of fake accounts.
Nawaz sent abroad.
Pm was begging army in every speech not to do this. When he said he would not give nro, its actually military who he was telling not to be tricked again by them. But bajwa did sadly

Now his pet bites him. Serves him right.

Please don't take it as an attack against the pak army. I would fight along with the army if need be. However, Pakistani generals are corrupt and thick to be honest. I thought bajwa was better but he is so full of himself

Raheel shareef is an over rated general who is just doing labor job in KSA.
