It was sad to read about the helicopter accident today in Gilgit , where many foreign diplomats died. Involving MI-17 helicopter. In past years this model have been involved in many accidents.

Pakistan must change this model out with any other reliable heavylift Helicopter. Like USA made Chinook heavy-lift choppers.

This is second MI-17 helicopter involved in bad landing.Last week a tail of one Mi-17 was badly damaged while landing at a base and today so many high level casualties along with the pilot(s). We need to have a update our pilot's training programmes as well. Losing 2 Mi17s in a matter of a week time is totally unacceptable.
