well sammy will be annoyed Pakistan going to europe, but hey its worth a try, right. and most likely turn out to be smooth sailing. i know the eft is not to going to Asia never mind pakistan, it's just too expensive, the gripen is more of a probable jet in terms of looking for a cheap western fighter. but the gripen is near enough British as it is Swedish and with the usa providing core engine kits, they too have a say on the jet too.

In the presence of F16, Jf17 there is no need of Gripen ........................
France is too bent towards India............ and after Rafale deal its impossible for Pakistan to go after Rafales....... only possible option left if EFT 2000 but you need good political relations with UK, Germany, Italy, Spain + A lot of money + Pressure lobbies kicked out to go for such aircraft................

money will be the only problem, we (the uk) are aware of pakistan's influence in wealthier ME countries who have alot more money and we need the money to to keep the factories open. the total typhoon production keeps about 100,000 jobs world wide afloat.
The Spanish and the Italians wont pose a problem but, i think Germany will as it does typically. did you know they blocked the saudi typhoon deal but the we pushed through with it anyway and it was on our accord the deal see through. also each defence contractor is responsible for sales in different parts of the world. so you don't need to go buy typhoons from BAE Systems or EADS, you can go through Alenia Aermacchi for example as they are selling 28 typhoons to kuwait.

yep i forgot sorry, we sold typhoons to Saudi Arabia and they dont execute people, they are absolute Angeles.

when push comes to shove, we care about money more than anything and with orders falling quickly and if word got out we lost a big deal due to policy it will result in 1000's of job losses. also dont forget bae system will lobby the government for the deal to go through. lets not forget defence lobbies are one of the strongest in most countries, including the usa as well. the tories are not anti pakistani. but they will choose india over Pakistan simply due to money/economic power. as i said before money before anything else. is india looking at buying typhoons?

That depends of our stance in Middle East............... And this time our interests are not matcing with those of KSA. So they are bit angry with us too.

Issue with EFT is............ it is multi national project................. which make it harder to peruse. KSA operate 72 of them, their planes were to induct 72 more Typhoons but now they are looking towards 72 Rafales...........
I just ''wish'' that PAF authorities do consider EFT seriously and manage some serious funds to purchase atleast 36 of them............ IAF Rafale vs PAF Typhoon will be like Clash of Titans...............

For us Rafale was a possibility...... but now it's gone...... EFT was close to impossible from start....... May be if we get enough leverage we might try to get 2nd hand Eagles but it's just a wild wish......
In Asia, Flanker sales depends on Russian influence, from J11 to Su35...... every thing is dependant upon Russian stance towards Pakistan defense market..... but here India butt in and they will try their best shot time fail such deal......
IMO ...... Mig35 option also exist which also belong to 4++ configuration....... but again...... it's Russia .........
