Pakistan Expresses Concern over Passage of 9/11 Bill

Saudis must be pissed.

It involves a lot of complications. Surely any nation in the world would express concerns.
/

Why would any nation in the world other than Saudi or by way of OBL association - Pakistan be concerned?

This bill is exclusively pertaining to 9/11 victims.

Even the article the vote is a symbolic one and implementing such a bill would be difficult. Nevertheless, even if Obama will veto it -- he will and he should -- I doubt there are enough votes in either the House or Senate to override the veto. In another article I read somewhere that it was a voice vote, meaning a collective "Yes" or "No" instead of the usual roll call.

This vote is a direct slap to the Saudis, who more than any other country, including Israel, spends money lobbying Washington.

Yep.. it is a voice vote.. It won't pass of course. There is no way something like this can actually pass especially if the White House doesn't want it to.

They must be. Any nation should be concerned over this. Who's to say the States won't invent a family to sue literally any other government in the world. It smears the reputation of a country if nothing else. Evidently, a proof isn't required too. Victim families are after Saudi, yet no Saudi involvement has been proven.

Moreover, why wouldn't the victim families sue Afghanistan and Iraq? The two countries obliterated because of their alleged involvement in 9/11.

Perhaps it's just a clever ploy to bring Saudi in line. If that's the case, if it backfires, which it pretty much will, there will be serious consequences.

It's purely related to 9/11, Afghanistan and Iraq are / were firmly under US influence.

The attackers were all Saudi nationals, and recently some proof of saudi funds going to the attackers were mentioned.

Pakistan solely could be worried about the obl connection.

CIA had stolen passports of Saudi people before 9/11 and used aptly in its fine production called 9/11 which has been debunked by scientists, engineers, architects and other experts as a false flag attack and that has a lot fundamental scientific omissions from which all Hollywood sci-fi movies suffer.

Every country in the world should adapt such law and allow its civilians to sue the US President and the US Govt for the murder of their family members and beloved ones.

No more collateral damage, a murder is a murder and must be compensated.

No one said anything about Pakistan in report, stop dreaming.

it will give rise to 26/11 lawsuit against pakistani state & non-state actors. There was an attempt to charge ISI chief for 26/11 in US courts as americans had lost their lives in attack. But law dint provide facility to frame charges as such against foreign govt functionaries. If 9/11 charges are filed then it will open doors for 26/11 as well.

If I read it right, it's exclusive for 9/11 victim families. 6 Americans were killed in 26/11, but I doubt this bill has a wider angle to it.

It simply contains one message, Saudi Arabian influence in USA is diminishing. Gone are the days when Saudis were safe under the umbrella of US, now that USA is getting closer (slowly) to Iran, if ever they could normalize and reach even a great friendly relation ( remote chance though) then it will be the end of SA influence in world in general and middle east in particular. :)

Are you kidding, USA is the one country who had interfered both politically and militarily in a lot of countries well before 9/11.

Do you seriously think that they needed any false flag operation like this just to invade much weaker Afghanistan ?? If they had to they would have rallied the world against Afghanistan without 9/11. But again the conspiracy theories won't die. :p:

Well shall we begin with Pakistan then ?? :)
Not only Afghanistan there plan was destruction of whole region..see now Iraq Syria, etc
